About Jeff Tate:

Raising my two sons, radio broadcasting, and flying airplanes have always been my greatest passions in life!

My career in radio began at WFDR AM & FM in Manchester, Georgia while I was in high school at Flint River Academy in Woodbury, Georgia.  Columbus, Georgia became my home in the ‘80’s.  I’ve enjoyed radio and television positions over the years.  A couple of friends and myself started a radio station in Warm Springs, Georgia a few years ago, which we later sold.

I began studies in Hollywood in film making and started a production company which produced several TV shows for worldwide distribution and produced numerous TV ads, primarily for the Atlanta market.

I am married to a wonderful lady, her name is Valerie.  We have two sons, Jason and Eric.  Both boys are grown now.  The oldest is a commercial pilot, flying jets out of Atlanta, and my youngest works at AFLAC in Columbus.

Being back in Manchester brings to mind many warm memories... It’s nice to be home!!!
